Hosie and Partners Solicitors is the partnership of Robert Hosie and Col Simmons conducting a legal practice which has been operating in the Central Business District of Ballina for over 20 years.

Bob Hosie
	Bob was raised in Lismore, attended Woodlawn College, obtained his legal qualifications from the University of Sydney and was admitted as a solicitor in 1981. He commenced practice in Ballina in 1983. Bob currently practices in Property, Commercial, Development and Land Law. Bob is very involved in Community Organisations mainly focusing on youth and disability issues. Bob is married with 3 children.
Col Simmons
	Colin joined the practice in 1988 with a background in accounting. He undertook studies through the University of Sydney and was admitted as a Solicitor in 1994. Colin graduated to partner in 1999. Colin has a range of experience in Conveyancing, Personal Injury, Wills, Probate, Litigation and Estate Planning. Colin is married with 3 children and lives in Ballina.
Luke Harrison
	Luke undertook his law degree at the University of Tasmania and was admitted as a solicitor in 2003. He began practicing in his hometown of Hobart. In 2004 Luke moved to Ballina where he worked locally as a solicitor. He joined this firm in 2010 and currently practices in Personal Injury, Litigation, Criminal, Family, Property and Commercial Law. Luke is an active member of the Ballina Triathlon Club and the Northern Rivers Cycling Club.
Support Staff
Maree McArthur
	Maree is a Conveyancing Paralegal with our firm and has a wide experience in both Conveyancing transactions and Property Law. Maree is Mr. Hosie's Personal Assistant.
Louise King
	Louise has been with our firm since 2002 and currently is personal secretary to Col Simmons. Louise primarily looks after Estate Matters, Wills and Personal Injuries.
Courtney Manning
	Courtney our receptionist is first contact point the public has with our firm.
Christine Brunsdon
	Christine is our part-time bookkeeper. She joined the firm in May 2010.
Rachelle Shay
	Rachelle has been with our firm since June 2010. She is Luke Harrison's personal secretary, and primarily looks after Personal Injuries, Litigation and Criminal matters.
